'Resist 45' Billboard Calls for Public to 'Kill the NRA'
A dadless lunatic went on a rampage and shot up a school. Now gun control activists are furious at... the killer? Negatory. The parents who failed their son? Nope. The FBI for ignoring tips on said shooter? Wrong again. It's the NRA!
Leftists are rage-smashing everything guns like the hangriest of Hulks. All in an effort to keep the children safe. Don't fret if you can't follow their logic, it disappeared faster than you can say "But the NRA had nothing to do with it, you ignorant crap wads."
Now, as people grieve and bury their lost loved ones, the tolerant left has struck once more. This time calling for more violence.
A vandalized billboard on Interstate 65 in Louisville called out the National Rifle Association following the recent school shootings in Kentucky and Florida. The sign on I-65 northbound near the Fern Valley Road exit read "Kill the NRA," and was tagged with "Resist 45," a group that opposed President Donald Trump.
Photos of the billboard, which is owned by Outfront Media, circulated widely on social media Monday. David Watkins, a spokesman for the company, said Tuesday that the vandalism on the Outfront property had been "immediately removed."
Maybe this was just a fringe group. A couple of miserable adult-children who ventured outside their safe spaces in the name of #resistance. Thing is, this NRA hatred isn't reserved to leftist outliers. The narrative is rampant among the left (see Congresswoman Calls Dana Loesch and the NRA 'Domestic Threats.' and Hillary Clinton Takes Aim at NRA, Silencers After Las Vegas Shooting).
The blame rests on the shoulders of those who dare protect themselves with firearms instead of group hugs. Meanwhile, leftists see themselves as the chosen ones -- public guardians on a quest to end the tyrannical reign of the NRA.
Sadly, this type of response is more common after a shooting than a logical approach. It's a display of the left's true colors: murderous red. While activists point the finger at all gun owners, they fail to realize there's one group consistently encouraging violence: themselves.
