Rapper T.I. is one of the few celebrities who isn't a vocal fan of strict gun control. He's also a convicted felon who owned a few guns illegally, so, take the following with a dash of the salts.

It's a tough one. You should probably make it more difficult for people who aren't mentally stable to have guns. I just honestly feel like if you lose the right to bear arms as a citizen, then it's easy for the government to enslave people.

This is a good example of the way many Americans feel. They want guns to stay out of the jittery, Adderall-dusted hands of young crazies. They don't want to strip every law-abiding citizen of their right to bear arms though. There's a multitude of reasons why; including the fact gun control denies people a major means of self defense. Yes, even from Uncle Sam's gun grabbing paws.

Defenseless citizens don't have much bargaining power against corrupt governments. Just ask Venezuela. The proof is in the putting. Of civilian guns into the government's clutches. It's not a good idea.
