A lot of fine Americans marched in Virginia on Monday to show how much their gun rights matter to them. Among them was this man, who in addition to the other two gentleman we've already written about, had a real problem with the media's narrative that only white supremacists support gun rights.

I'm going to be real clear about this. There is only one reason to try to limit or take away gun rights: to better oppress people. An unarmed populace is far easier to bully and control than an armed one. Which is why, throughout history, despotic regimes began their despotism by removing means of defense from the people they meant to oppress.

Hitler took guns from the German people before enacting his "final solution." Gun control Venezuela has lead to rising homicide rates.

So yes, taking guns from people is the first step in taking control. Regardless from which nation they hail.

An armed population is a free population. Never forget it.
