Police Arrest Berkeley Man After He Makes Crazy, Violent Threats Against Congressman
Looks like the Congressman in question could be Rand Paul, and the crazy nutjub making the threats is a Democrat drone. Don't say I never gave it all away in the opening sentence. Capitol police have apprehended and arrested the cartoon baddie after he threatened to chop up the Congressman's children, then spread their entrails like jelly on rye. Okay I added the food reference.
A Berkeley man was arrested on suspicion of threatening a federal official last week, just days after he allegedly wrote to a member of Congress he would “gut you like a hog” and kill the member’s family.Nathanial Blaine Luffman — a former Kentucky resident, according to his Facebook page — was arrested June 27 and is being taken to Oregon to face a single charge of retaliating against a federal official by way of threats. It carries a maximum term of 10 years in prison.
This right here is the limit to free speech. Inciting violence. Threats of violence. Lazy similes. "Gut you like a hog"? Negative two points for originality.
Luffman allegedly wrote emails and sent voicemails to the official. His email told the victim he’d “gut you like a hog” and leave “your kids bowels splayed out across floor blood spattered on the door as you lay dead,” police said.
Since when were commas outlawed? I'm offended as someone who likes punctuation, especially in lists.
Luffman also allegedly left a voicemail threatening to “hack to pieces” the official and his daughters, used the hashtag #ObamaForLife and claimed that the official was involved in a plot to assassinate ex-President Barack Obama in Kentucky.
Ah, there's the buried nugget. Luffman is an Obama drone. Probably a Resist! soldier, who takes his ideas from Twitter. No wonder he had to be stopped.
Now, according to authorities, Luffman threatened an Oregon official. But Rand Paul tweeted this about the same time Luffman got slapped with pretty stainless steel bracelets:
Coincidence?
Allegedly.
You can say whatever you want to whomever you want, but threats of violence or inciting violence is where we call in the po-po. I'm repeating this point for any errant leftist trolling me, who may then go to social media to call for my violent rape. Which Facebook won't find as problematic.
It's perfectly fine to disagree with someone politically. It's perfectly fine to vote against them in the next election. It's perfectly fine to campaign against a candidate, to campaign for their opponent, or to post nothing but shitty memes to your social media pages in which you demonstrate what an unoriginal hack you clearly are. All fine. But threatening violence against a person and that person's family is a no-no. Especially if you can't be clever about it.
Seems to be a common thing for the left to promote violence...
