We know Pharrell Williams for the stupid songs he writes. And the stupid hats he wears. And he also looks like a ninja turtle with AIDS. Well, now you can add stupid remarks to the list. This week, he hit the campaign trail for Hillary Clinton and had this to say...

Hillary Clinton stepped off her plane and hit the campaign trail in North Carolina with hit music producer Pharrell Williams on Thursday after he said concerns about her 'honesty' have been blown out of proportion.

The 43-year-old hit-maker is helping to campaign for Clinton and urged women to vote for the first female president.

"He said that concerns about Clinton's 'honesty' in the wake of the email scandals, was an example of ingrained sexism against a female politician."

Interestingly, I was unable to find video of that little soundbite where Pharrell excuses Hillary's dishonesty. But the video I did find had plenty of patronizing comments to women: vote for Hillary because she's a woman. And we need a woman as president because a woman should be president. Ignore all of Hillary's scandals, her failed policies, her trust issues. She has a vagina, ladies!

A number of things...

Isn't feminism supposed to be about women making their own choices? Not being pressured into voting for a candidate because they have the same sex organs? Leftists complain about judging people by their gender almost daily. Only to turn around and say you should vote for Hillary just because she's a woman.

Here's an idea. How about trusting women to vote using their logic. Not their emotions or female parts. You know, making reasoned decisions with their brains. Let them examine Hillary's (sordid) history. The history of her paying people off, breaking the law, covering up rapes (ALLEGEDLY) and just personifying political corruption.

Then, let women make their own choice. We have a deal?

Of course not. Because as I've said before, Democrats are masters of projection. They constantly complain about that which they are most guilty, in this case blanket sexism: You women should vote Hillary because she's a woman!

Also, I love how Pharrell alluded to women being pregnant. A rather ironic point considering Hillary's views on abortion.

I dream of a world where celebrities like Pharrell stick to what they do best, in this case playing pretend in front of a camera. Or writing annoying songs. Which may have been copied from Marvin Gaye. But hey, laws are blurred lines. Instead, celebrities think they know what's best for everyone else simply because they have some name recognition. They also think we're a wee bit stupid. Well, on Tuesday, that plan may backfire on them.
