Parkland Shooting Hero Leaves Hospital, Blasts Sheriff for Incompetence
Anthony Borges, a hero of the Parkland shooting, has been recovering in the hospital ever since the tragedy. He's also the first to file suit against the sheriff and the school resource officer. Basically, the people most responsible for enabling the massacre (see Video Shows Deputy Standing Outside During Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting and LISTEN: Cops Told to Stay Away During Parkland Shooting).
Speaking through his lawyer, Borges let the Sheriff know exactly what he thinks of him:
To Sheriff Israel of the Broward Sheriff’s Office and Robert Runcie, the Superintendent of schools in Broward, I want to thank you for visiting me at the hospital, but I want to say that both of you failed us, students, teachers and parents alike, on so many levels.
I want to ask you today to end your policy and agreement that you will not arrest people committing crimes in our school.
Well put. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and a tidy settlement for Borges. Cheers.
Anthony is taking action against the incompetent lawman who let the shooter fling lead without resistance. As opposed to his chin-impaired peers, who would rather direct their rage toward the NRA and law-abiding gun owners. For stubbornly standing in the way of them taking Wite-Out to the Bill of Rights.
Methinks if those gun-grabbing kiddos were slamming the Sheriff, he'd have gathered up his things and vamoosed a long time ago. Instead, they're allowing themselves to be pawns for anti-gun leftists. Fortunately though, the rest of the youngsters know exactly where to put the blame for allowing the ticking time bomb of a shooter to go unchecked.
There may be hope for the future after all.
