Screaming matches between the left and the right have become more common than fall-loving, Starbucks toting, bad-at-twerking white girls. Leftists even held a voice-mangling practice sesh by screaming at the sky over the anniversary of Trump's win (see Leftists Protest Election of Donald Trump by Screaming at the Clouds). Practice makes perfect.

Segue, watch as Owen Benjamin perfectly explains why the left is impossible to get along with, even when we try.

First, Owen talks about the civilized disagreements between his liberal family and his own conservative beliefs.

It's all good though because we have the same goal. We disagree on gun control. My brother is a little more with me , but my dad wants a lot more gun regulations because he wants to lower shootings, I wanna lower shootings, my brother wants to lower shootings. I just want more armed and responsible civilians to lower shootings. See what I'm saying? Shared goal. Same goal, different policies.

Then, he contrasts such civility with the deranged psych ward patients who call themselves leftists.

Demonizing white people and males for the world's problems is not part of my value system. There is no goal in that. I believe in merit over race, I believe in values over gender... When I'm called a bigot and a racist for my views on healthcare, not by random trolls but by former CNN hosts and major celebrities, we don't share a common goal.

We can argue until the sun comes up and I'll still love you, even if you're wrong. But if you come near my kid, I will blow your head off.

Well that escalated quickly.

But he's right. Both sides can find common ground if we're willing to be civil and listen to each other. If that common ground isn't things like "Abortion on demand" or "You're an intolerant bridge troll if you don't give your kid hormone blockers." If what we want is the same thing, but we have different mthods of getting there, we can have a discussion.

If the common goals are not shared, as with the left now (abortion on demand, trans kids given hormones, bake this gay cake or die), the left cannot be dealt with. We need to defeat them. Soundly. Yeah?
