Open Carry Man Responds Awesomely to Anti-Gun Nut
There's been a lot about guns in the news lately (Anti-Gun Liberal Admits She "Has No Idea how to Shoot." Michelle Malkin Destroys...). That's bound to happen when leftists want to take your guns away discuss simple common sense gun safety reforms America apple pie. Ironically, all it has done has increase gun sales and increase open carry.
Like this guy.
Let me start off by saying that no, not everyone who likes to open carry is helpful to the gun rights cause. When you advertise "We're going to be here and we're bringing our guns with us," stay home because you're not helping. But that's not this guy, judging by the video. Here's a guy who was walking down the street when an anti-gun zealot started yelling at him, so much that the police had to get involved. Because the guy without the gun is causing ten times the commotion.
The gun owner is super nice and understanding. Notice his stance, his calm demeanor, how he never motions to his weapon to shoot the excited ant-gun zealot. He's just a bearded hipster with a rifle. He's not shooting, not threatening to shoot. Was he intentionally showing off his gun to cause a scene? We can't know. Maybe. Probably. If he was, mission accomplished. We do know he's exercising his right to a gun (like this guy who a concealed carry holder who shot an armed robber).
The anti-gun zealot is yelling like a crazy person, and is the only one being threatening. He's speaking in terms Quentin Tarantino would totally approve of. He's aggressive, anxious, and if he had a gun he might be what we call "trigger happy," which isn't to be confused with "trigger warning." But when you think about...they both signify crazy. Maybe that's where the leftists came up with their cute little phrase.
Lesson: people have the right to keep and bear arms, it matters not if you like it or don't like it. People can be jerks. You do not have the right to be liked. All of this applies for everyone in that video.
Also, that anti-gun nut needs to watch this little video:
