In a perfect world, O.J. Simpson would have spoken out about Elon Musk's joke from Saturday. Musk alluded to the fact that O.J. got away with murdering his wife. You would think The Juice would have thoughts. He's had thoughts on so many other things lately. Instead of attacking Musk, Simpson came out today and endorsed a political candidate. Liz Cheney.

That's right, folks. O.J. has thoughts on an internal House GOP leadership vote. Also, the horse who got busted taking steroids. He gets to the horse first.

It seems that that big truth and honesty seem to be the enemy of many of these Republican politicians. And Liz Cheney stands up for the truth, and that's got her a lot of heat. She may lose her position in the party; she may even lose her career as a politician, but that is something to be admired. Standing up for the truth, that's something I know her father wouldn't have done, so right now I'm kind of a fan of Liz Cheney.

To bring everyone up to speed, Liz Cheney is the House GOP conference chair. She voted for Trump's impeachment and keeps badmouthing him, so other Republicans want to vote her out of leadership. Running to be her replacement is Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. Someone who, while she is verbally supportive of Trump, voted AGAINST Trump on the Trump tax cuts and funding for the wall, voted against Trump's emergency declaration on the border, voted FOR amnesty, voted to force Trump to stay in the Paris accord, voted for Biden's so-called "Equality" Act that is anything but, and voted to force pro-life groups to pay for abortions. Out of over 200 Republican congresspeople, it appears these are our only two choices. This is the current House GOP leadership fight going on right now. Aren't you glad you asked?

There is a vote scheduled on Wednesday, where Cheney is expected to be removed from leadership. But chin up, Liz! You may have lost the support of your peers, your former president, and the people of Wyoming. But at least you have O.J. Simpson's support! You and your dad should take him hunting.
