Obama Promised Donation to Kayla Mueller Foundation. One Year Later? Nothing...
Remember Kayla Mueller? She was taken hostage by ISIS and forced to be a sex slave. Before she was murdered. We wrote about her last year (read Calling All #SJW Feminists: Top 5 Examples of Islam Abusing Women). You've likely seen her name in the news. That's because a video of her in captivity recently surfaced for the first time. Along with it, Kayla's family did an interview with ABC - where they mentioned a promise made to them by Obama. Spoiler: he didn't follow through with said promise.
Surprise, surprise...
On March 13, 2015, U.S. President Barack Obama visited her parents in Phoenix, Arizona, and asked them what he could do for them. The parents aid he could donate to a foundation they established in her memory. He promised to do that. To date, the family says the President hasn't followed through.A White House official told ABC News that the promise did happen, and that Obama will follow through.
Here's the thing: the Mueller family is not entitled to Obama's dough. Though he feels rather entitled to ours... Besides the point. People don't get money just because bad things happen. But Obama went out of his way to make a promise. To score political points? Probably. But the cash never came. Which, apparently the White House is aware of... But still can't be bothered to scrape enough together for the donation a year later.
There's a simple solution here. Don't want to donate money? Don't offer. See how easy that is?
Let me clarify once more, for added thoroughness: It's not about the money. Obama released 12 prisoners from Gitmo. He paid Iran a ransom. Meanwhile, Kayla Mueller? Left to die. Not even worth so much as a measly, single donation - the size of which matters zero. It's the gesture that could have counted. Instead Obama busies himself visiting mosques to lecture the American people about hate. And drafting up memos to scold Americans about racism. #Priorities
