Let New York be a warning of what happens when no one opposes the Democrats. As soon as they take full control of state government, they make a beeline for the First and Second Amendments faster than diaper-clad outrage mobsters can run a Google search. Which is actually a segue into our points. Now comes this new scheme which says you can have a gun, but only if you take out a million dollar insurance policy first. Isn't that just swell.

State Senate Bill S2857A, sponsored by Kevin S. Parker, would “amend the insurance law, to require firearm owners, prior to such ownership, to obtain and continuously maintain a policy of liability insurance to cover any damages resulting from the use of such firearm.”

“Any person in this State who shall own a firearm shall, prior to such ownership, obtain and continuously maintain a policy of liability insurance in an amount not less than one million dollars specifically covering any damages resulting from any negligent or willful acts involving the use of such firearm while it is owned by such person.”

We're not even to the part that will really make you stabby. Until New York goes after knives too.

“Failure to maintain such insurance shall result in the immediate revocation of such owner's registration, license and any other privilege to own such firearm.”

Never have 24 words more perfectly summed up the leftist agenda. You don't have rights, only privileges given to you by a government. That they control. Learn it, live it, love it, accept it or else. But remember, it's the left which is fueled by compassion and freedom. Any deviation from this thought process may lead to your banishment from civilized society. You 'vil obey.
