Sounds to me like Virginia Democrats have a racism problem. First Governor Ralph Northam donned either a KKK outfit or slathered his face with makeup for a photo, then later he admitted to being in blackface as Michael Jackson. Now the Attorney General Mark Herring, third in line for the governorship, has admitted to blackface.

Here's the money shot:

"In 1980, when I was a 19-year-old undergraduate in college, some friends suggested we attend a party dressed like rappers we listened to at the time, like Kurtis Blow, and perform a song. It sounds ridiculous even now writing it. But because of our ignorance and glib attitudes -- and because we did not have an appreciation for the experiences and perspectives of others -- we dressed up and put on wigs and brown makeup."

Herring then says it was a one-time thing and it was 40 years ago, therefore doesn't reflect who he is today. He will not confirm if he will resign, only that there needs to be "honest conversations" about his future in government.

Now, had the Democrats not spent all summer tearing down Brett Kavanaugh for an event which they say happened in HIGH SCHOOL, we could all be somewhat sympathetic to young people making terrible choices. Alas, we're living in a post-Kavanaugh world. A world where Democrats analyzed every comma, word, or errant apostrophe in Kavanaugh's yearbook, diaries, and personal calendar from when he was in HIGH SCHOOL in a clear attempt to destroy his life. So boof that.

Sorry, I haven't any sympathy. Democrats wrote the rules. Democrats set the precedent that alleged incidents with no proof at all were admissible in a politician or judge's career. There's evidence with Northam. Herring has admitted to blackface. Going by the rules as set by Democrats, Northam and Herring must resign. Now.

The GOP didn't make these rules. Conservatives in media didn't make these rules. Democrats did. Live by the sword...
