Norm Macdonald Blasts Late Night Show Hosts for Failing to Report News
What better place to source news than a late night host? Which is exactly what many a leftist has done. "News," is a stretched term. Like Nancy Pelosi's face. Late night hosts simply parrot the leftist's viewer's opinions right back at them. Makes the viewer feel validated, rather than woefully inconsequential (see Jimmy Kimmel Leads Late Night Comedy’s Gun Control Push and Video: Seth Meyers Parrots Eminem. Tells his Trump-Supporting Fans to Get Bent…). Maybe leftists are jealous they don't have a guy off camera telling people when to laugh at their jokes?
Norm Macdonald has a response to this desperate need to get news validation from "comedians."
Norm is talking about this story, wherein Ronan Farrow exposed the levels Harvey Weinstein reached to cover up his rapey ways. Hint: Black Ops. When you don't have charm, looks, or decency, one must hire former Mossad agents to silence your victims.
Which you would think is ripe for no only jokes, but actual news stories. Alas.
Macdonald has a broader point to be made. Ronan Farrow isn't someone you'll see driving a pickup, wearing a MAGA hat. But he's actively engaged in serious journalism. He's not repeating jokes his bitterly leftist writers penned for him. Going around a circle seeing who has the most cliche Trump jab. All of you. All of you are cliches. In the case of Jimmy Kimmel, repeating jokes Chuck Schumer faxed him.
While the left idolizes people who make jokes about news, leftists should focus more on the people actually reporting news. They won't. But they should. #IdealWorld
Not that there's anything wrong about making jokes targeted at late night comedians...
