Nine Inch Nails Singer Trent Reznor: Why Won't Taylor Swift Denounce Trump?
One of the many differences between conservatives and leftists are celebrities. Specifically how conservatives would prefer they shut their giant bazoos. Except for the few who agree with us, obviously (see Tim Allen on “Last Man Standing” Return: I Identify as an Asian Woman… and Dean Cain: NFL Players Should Meet with Trump on Pardons). Leftists not only demand celebrities valid their worldview, they treat those who don't as blobfish. Which brings us to Nine Ince Nails frontman Trent Reznor. He's ticked at Taylor Swift.
Trent Reznor isn’t afraid to get vocal about what he believes in and what angers him. Right now, his annoyance seems to lie within Taylor Swift and other younger, contemporary artists remaining silent on today’s issues.
“You don’t hear a lot from the Taylor Swifts of the world, and top-tier, needle-moving cultural youth, because they are concerned about their brand, their demographic and their success and career and whatnot,” Reznor said.
Or maybe the Swifts of the world just want to entertain and not alienate half the country who may have a different opinion than them. Like people who want to enjoy a concert without being patronized by a liberal elitist, DNC shill. Politics isn't everything. Get this, most people see entertainment as a distraction.
Let's be honest with ourselves. The Trent Reznors of the world want celebrities to speak out as long as they speak out correctly. If Taylor Swift supported the wall, a crisis pregnancy center that didn't perform abortions, or just doesn't care who is or isn't making a wedding cake, the Trent Reznors of the world would be first to cyberbully them.
Because for the left, politics is everything. For the left, politics comes first, second, third, fourth and fifth. To the left, there's nothing more important than pushing a worldview and defeating the right.
Never forget it.
