The left is marching on wrong-think like the Nazis marched on France. I don't use that simile lightly. It's purely intentional. No I won't apologize. Hey, at least the French knew the Nazis were coming. In an effort to squash independent thought, the left (and by extension, its portly minions who follow their leaders with Borg-like obedience) are silencing anyone who dares say "there are only two genders."

The most recent case comes from a local newspaper, which fired its editor over this tweet exchange, wherein Mr. Finley commented on a third gender option on drivers' licenses:

Mr. Finley asks several times "why is it 'awesome' to have a third gender option?" To which he didn't receive a satisfactory reply. Then he stepped into controversy by making a comparison:

His point got lost the minute he dared compare a third gender option being recognized to a (as of now) frowned upon sexual predilection.

As expected, leftists zeroed in on "he just used a comparison using pedophiles, ergo he believes people with third genders are pedophiles!" Could Finley have used a different comparison? Sure. But the left's attack would've been the same had Mr. Finley said "it's awesome they're going to recognize puppies on licenses." Then the left would've said "ARE YOU COMPARING TRANSPEOPLE TO ANIMALS WHO DON'T KNOW WHEN TO POO OUTSIDE?"

Finley became embroiled in a community controversy last week based on a series of tweets about a Vermont proposal to add a third gender option to driver licenses. Upon review, it was determined that Finley had violated the company’s social media guidelines on a number of occasions.

Yet it was this occasion, when he joked about the world ending because one's gender has become a multiple choice exam (on a laminated card meant to correctly identify someone, not to affirm your delusion) the paper decided to check in on the rest of the Twitter timeline. More wrong-think ensued.

In short, it's my opinion (bolded, italicized and underlined so you don't confuse it for fact), Finley got canned because he wasn't espousing liberal ideas. Mocking a third gender option is hardly the same as calling for mass genocide. Or suggesting Nickelback should appear on Canada's currency. America isn't to blame, this is how you remind me.

Mr. Finley stated the emperor had no clothes. To everyone else, who insist on normalizing the not normal, Finley had to be dispatched.
