One of my favorite parts of Trump's America is witnessing leftists' sudden concern with the Constitution. Like the old document has been hiding these past eight years, and now, just now, they're treating it like a neglected transgendered toddler. Unchecked executive power was the cat's pajamas under President Obama. Now that President Trump can have those same powers and play by those same rules? You could say it's a come to Jesus moment. Except leftists find Jesus triggering.

When I first heard about the NSA's PRISM surveillance program, I closed my eyes and pictured President Obama personally looking through my emails and internet search history. It made me feel warm inside.

This is a clear case of the other shoe dropping on your face. Or maybe that's a shoe on the other hand? I'm mixing my metaphors. Whatever it is, leftists are dropping deuces in their diapers. Oh sure, too much power in the executive was fine with his Majesty Obama. But now the orang-haired tycoon who oft uses the word "frankly" as a verbal crutch has the executive pen?

"BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION???!!!" leftists cry. Even though for the past eight years the left has used the constitution to wipe their pimply posteriors. Rich. Pass the creme.

I mean sure, that tactic blew up in their faces too, but it's their schtick. Their sudden faux concern with a President having the power to violate our rights or the law? Duly mocked.
