Just when you thought we've reached peak flaming gayness after Gay Man Sets Himself on FIRE After Discovering 'Boyfriend' with a Woman we learn our former Commander in Chief considered man-on-man action for himself. The new biography, "Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama," is slated for release May 9th. It's written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Garrow who also contributes to The New York Times. Let's just say his closet isn't full of MAGA hats. But there may have been more in Barry's closet. Other than ill-fitting matriarchal denim:

In a chapter about the former president’s two years at Occidental College, Garrow reveals a close relationship Obama had with an openly gay assistant professor named Lawrence Goldyn.

“Goldyn made a huge impact on Barry Obama,” Garrow wrote in the book. “Almost a quarter century later, asked about his understanding of gay issues, Obama enthusiastically said, ‘my favorite professor my first year in college was one of the first openly gay people that I knew…He was a terrific guy” with whom Obama developed a ‘friendship beyond the classroom.'”

I want to make it clear that having a gay friend doesn't make one gay. We're not saying it, Garrow doesn't seem to be saying it.

There's just more to this story than Goldyn's queer eye for the lanky guy...

The biographer added, “Goldyn years later would remember that Obama ‘was not fearful of being associated with me’ in terms of ‘talking socially’ and ‘learning from me’ after as well as in class.”

“Three years later, Obama wrote somewhat elusively to his first intimate girlfriend that he had thought about and considered gayness, but ultimately had decided that a same-sex relationship would be less challenging and demanding than developing one with the opposite sex,” Garrow wrote. “But there is no doubting that Goldyn gave eighteen-year-old Barry a vastly more positive and uplifting image of gay identity and self-confidence than he had known in Honolulu.”

Ah...

Firstly, Obama is the guy who lived in a White House lit up with flamboyant gay flag colors after the Supreme Court re-wrote the definition of marriage. So this "revelation" of Obama considering the Gay Way isn't as surprising as some will pretend. As a refresher, below is what said White House looked like. Maybe Not-Gay Obama had the idea to light 'er up in all the gay ways. Or waved a limp-wristed thumbs up to whoever proposed the gayish gradient.

Also, who could forget that leaked video of Obama "working out" which revealed him to be so sissy and wimpish, TMZ had a fit over a "security breach." I apologize for the annoying TMZ screeching here. Hit mute and watch how Obama lifts weights even most self-respecting weight-lifting women wouldn't be seen touching.

Now, as to "considering" gayness. This sentiment seems to imply Obama:

A) was making nearly all of his decisions based on political expediency and path of least resistance,

B) believes sexuality can be a choice, which flies in the face of everything he's claimed (along with his platform) for the last several years. How often do we hear "you don't choose to be gay!"

For the record, I believe homosexuality is a byproduct of both nature and nurture. But if that notion is correct, how could Obama have "decided" his sexual orientation? Based on Obama's premise of homosexuality, he's either:

A) lying about his views on homosexuality or,

B) his current life is a lie.

Even if he's simply changed his opinion on homosexuality since college, that wouldn't affect anything, as we are (in Obama's own words) dealing with biology here. So those are the two choices. And if the biography is accurate (and the author is a far left Pulitzer winner), Obama will have a lot of 'splaining to do. Especially to Michelle.
