The cliche adage is that the bad thing the Democrats do is never the story. The story is the Republican response to it. Had a Republican staffer filmed themselves fornicating in the SENATE JUDICIARY HEARING ROOM, the entire Republican party would be at fault, and it would be 24/7 coverage on MSNBC. The staffer being a Democrat makes this a "Republicans pounce" story. Or, in this specific case, a "Republicans pitch" story.

I don't think we need to get too into the details of yesterday's story before the media sends it down the gaping memory hole. There was a Democrat staffer who filmed himself with another male engaging in an activity that Democrats claim you are a homophobe for not wanting them to teach children in public school about. The Daily Caller broke the story. The video is real. The dude admitted to it, though claims it's "because of who he loves" and not because of the location. He got fired from his job.

NBC News framed the story that the decision to part ways was mutual, the video was alleged, and the people at fault are the conservative outlets for covering the story the same way NBC News would if the staffer was a Republican.

But these bars from NBC News's deputy tech director were my favorite.

Unclear is what "smears of LGBTQ people" he is talking about. There is a belief among many on the Left and the media (but I repeat myself) that it is an attack on LGBTQ people to call it inappropriate for adult males to dress like harlots, give themselves sexual innuendo stage names, and dance for little children.

The Left and the media also claim it's a smear if you, as a parent, disagree with tasting vagina slime, the proper techniques of giving a "handy," or graphic play-by-plays of two dudes f*cking being a crucial part of your child's public school curriculum. or thinking that you, as a parent, should be allowed an opinion on the matter.

NBC News could be referring to conservative media articles covering stories like those. But I don't see how reporting “On Friday, a video was released of a Democrat staffer engaging in a sexual activity IN THE SENATE that Democrats want to teach your children in school via comic books" rings a little hollow.
