Leftists love to imply that if groups like BlackLivesMatter make you uncomfortable, it’s because you’re racist. It doesn’t matter that BLM has an embarrassingly violent history of racism itself (see BlackLivesMatter Blasts Library… For Not Segregating Safe Spaces?!). Think less MLK Jr and more Malcolm X. If Malcolm X allowed a white man to impersonate a black leader (ahem Shaun King). You needn’t pay mind to “white people” being singled out and targeted. Otherwise, well…
We already have equality. But that’s not enough for the left. There needs to be black empowerment via white guilt. You must regret your skin color, because someone 50 years ago made black people regret their skin color… Or something.
A recent letter sent out by the National Education Association perfectly illustrates this. It chastises people for being white. Does it sound ridiculous? It should. Also, you’re a racist.
[O]wn ALL of the ways you play a role in systemic and institutional racism just by being white. Stop trying to understand how [racism] feels or relate to it with a personal anecdote. You are white; you will never ever know what it feels like to experience racism.
Really? Because this feels a little racist to me. So does being threatened with death just for being white (BlackLivesMatter Idiot Caught Tweeting ‘Master Plan’ About Killing All Whites).
Follow the airport rule: “See something, say something.” As white people, we need to move from being anti-racist allies to anti-racist accomplices. I often say, “Social Justice work is never done…”
See? It’s not enough to simply be a regular, non-racist person. Every white person must pay for the sins of some racist rednecks from 50+ years ago. “Social Justice work is never done…” Yes, that does sound like something a woman with an Astro Boy haircut would say.
Look, I’m not trying to downplay legitimate racism. But these SJW morons are. These donglebrains keep tossing out the word “racism” like it’s an unwanted baby. As a result, they’re trivializing actual suffering black people underwent long ago. And no, being in a room full of white people doesn’t count as suffering.
The least these leftists can do is try to remain consistent. At least half of the time. Leftists hate it when black people are generalized and stereotyped. Hey, that’s fair. But their entire argument against “white privilege” is based on generalization and stereotypes. See the problem? They’ve taken an ancient stigma and blown it way out to fat feminist Tess Holiday like proportions in order to garner emotional reactions. That’s unnecessary. Most people don’t care if you have blonde hair or an afro. Or a blondefro. None of that matters to us. It only matters if you’re a giant fat person who threatens to sit on us. Then we’re peeing our pants scared. We don’t even care what bathroom we use, we just need a safe space.
