Nancy Pelosi Claims Wages Aren't Growing Under Trump

Corey Stallings
September 07, 2018

Nancy Pelosi is claiming wages aren't growing under Trump. According to her, working people are just one more missed meal away from roasting Fido. Over a fire fueled by little Sally's outdated math textbook. From the underfunded inner-city school she'll have to drop out of to work in the coal mines. Yes, we're truly on the verge of a full-blown apocalypse.

There's just one problem with that:

At this point you can no longer parody Nancy Pelosi https://t.co/pXhoqOk0Wp

Here's a few of the "greatest hits" from Nancy's bullhickey-stuffed diatribe:

August's jobs report shows that the soaring cost of living for families continues to lead to stagnant real wage growth for workers.

While the wealthy and well-connected fill their pockets, hard-working men and women are struggling to keep up with everyday needs that are getting more and more expensive.

What Nance is leaving out is the left's plan to fix those people's money woes. You know, raising taxes across the board and jacking more of their money. Solid plan, as usual.

The American people deserve more than a Republican Congress and Administration that ransacks their pocketbooks and futures again and again, just to enrich the GOP's special interest friends.

Yet, as the Twitterer points out, the situation with wages right now is actually the opposite of Nancy's doomsday claim. In that wages are going up. In that Americans are earning and, thanks to tax cuts, keeping more of their money.

The United States created 201,000 new jobs in August, keeping the unemployment rate at an 18-year low and generating the fastest increase in worker pay since the end of the Great Recession.

Oh, Nancy.

You've really got to give it to Nance. Her poker face is second-to-none. Then again, it's probably the Botox. Though, no amount of face-freezing cosmetic procedures can hide Nancy's true nature. That of a lying liar who lies.

To be fair, Nancy has a point about rising costs. Except, the cost of living goes up because leftists stifle businesses with taxes and regulations. They prefer telling the market to hit the bricks and giving the government sole authority to decide what gets made. Where it happens. How it's done. Yes, the same group of people who run the DMV.

The truth is lefties are trying to downplay the economic successes under the Donald. They'd rather be locked in an airtight room with Michael Moore after his fifth chili dog than admit Trumpy did a good thing. Pathetic.
