I know, evergeen headline.  Alex Wagner says stupid things on the regular, or nods along stupidly as her guests say stupid things.

First, this whole video is worth watching. Bill Maher is nothing if not consistent. He hates religion, only unlike most liberals, all of them equally and not just Christianity. He's also unapologetic about free speech and the first amendment.  The rest of the panel?

Did you hear it?

Actually, no. No, no no. You moron, no. Free speech is what gives you the right TO JUDGE PEOPLE, as well as to piss them off, offend them, make fun of their mothers, etc.

And of course not content in her stupidity, Alex Wagner went for the leftist "what about Westboro Baptists" talking point.  It's the "but what about the crusades" for liberals in the free speech debate.  You know, that thing they say that makes them think they sound smart, to people who don't know what sounding smart sounds like? So ok, what about the Westboro Baptists? All 17 of them? Let's say for sake of argument that they are as offensive as Pam Geller wrapped in a neon, pink burka urinating on a falafel.

No one shoots or calls for the execution of the Westboro Baptists. We just laugh at them. See the difference?
