WATCH: Even MSNBC Is Having Second Thoughts About Hillary
Hillary Clinton has about as much luck with emails as the Trix rabbit. Silly secretary! Internets are for kids! A little throwback for you Tuesday morning. Now that the FBI has reopened her investigation, it looks like her luck has run out. Even with her friends at MSNBC.
Yes...MSNBC. Mouthpiece of the left. Home of Chris Hayes and his top, Rachel Maddow. Even THEY'RE suggesting the FBI has a case. Morning Joe cohost Mika Brzezinski, whose name I had to cut and paste, is now wondering if Hillary Clinton should have even been nominated. Think about that. An MSNBC host questioned if Hillary should've been nominated. Ouch. It's a valid point, one that Donald Trump has been making for quite some time. I guess suddenly, to them, in comparison with Clinton, Trump doesn't seem so crazy after all.
Will it matter?
Look at the preponderance of evidence. It's hard for anyone to claim Hillary's innocent with a straight face anymore. To be fair, it's hard to keep a straight face when talking Hillary at all. The grimaces are a reflex. You can't even claim she simply "didn't know" and set up her private server for any other reason than to keep information hidden. Wikileaks is putting out like it's prom night (watch Top 10 Wikileaks You Must Know...). And, so far, the Democrats' only defense? "It was those mean Russkies." The same Russkies Obama said were no longer a threat four years ago. What happened with that, Barry?
Even the previous investigation has come under scrutiny. There were payoffs (see RIGGED: Amid Email Scandal, Clinton Ally ‘Paid’ 600K to FBI Prosecutor’s Wife…), interventions (read CORRUPTION: FBI, DOJ Wanted to Investigate Hillary. Comey and Lynch Intervened…). Even shady airport meetings. The media managed to shrug all of it off...until now.
Will this investigation go anywhere? Hard to say right now. With what we know about Hillary, she may lie and cheat her way out of it. Just like she did before. But, this time it could be different. She may not have the media in her corner to sweep this under the rug. Her next pantsuit may have black and white stripes.
