But, like most tragedies, it also provides an excuse for leftists to be partisan douchelords. Like MSNBC, while interviewing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

MSNBC: How about the risk of deportation for those who are undocumented immigrants that could be in the way of the storm’s path? Are they in the clear to go to some of these evacuation centers? Do they have to show ID?"

GOV. ABBOTT: It’s my understanding from what I saw from the border patrol instructions yesterday that it will not be an issue. What everyone is focused on right now is ensuring that we do all we can to protect life. We all have a high regard for life. We want to ensure the safety of all lives and we’re prepared to take all measures to do so.

Unsurprisingly, in MSNBC's world, everything has a political bent.

But, he has much bigger problems. Houston is looking more like Bikini Bottom right now. I think it's safe to say, rounding up illegal buttmunches is on the backburner at the moment. But, no worries. ICE will be back on the prowl in no time.

The left was politicizing Hurricane Harvey before he even made landfall. We've already been told our carbon footprint was to blame for the storm, because Hurricanes were unheard of before electricity. Also, leftists will no doubt find fault with Trump's response in the aftermath. Even though it's been pretty good, so far. One thing's for sure. Never underestimate leftists' ability to take advantage of a tragedy for their own selfish gain.

Leftists don't seem to realize there's a mucho bad storm threatening people's lives and doing millions in damage. The primary concern right now is to keep people from going to meet Jesus prematurely. Yet, leftists are only seem concerned with protecting their voter base and advancing their agenda.

They can ramble on about how compassionate they are until they're blue in the face. But, their priorities during a crisis speak volumes.
