Watch: These people are all way too old AF to be holding elected office
Mitch McConnell had another deer-in-the-headlight moment when questioned about running for re-election in 2026 yesterday.
"These people [government officials] are senile. This is elder abuse,” Steven said. “Elder abuse is a big problem in this country. Elder abuse takes place at a much higher rate than young people,” Steven said. "McConnell is 81 years old. Which is old for a tortoise."
The video clip showed McConnell struggling to respond to a question about his thoughts on running for re-election.
“That’s uh…” McConnell started to respond but became silent instead. A woman quickly rushed to his side and asked if he heard the question.
He responded “Yes” in a very soft voice but still appeared to be very confused.
Steven said that the people who are forcing him to stay in office are evil and that he is not an outlier.
"When you look at the average age of politicians you are looking well into the 60s, and into the 70s in some states,” Steven said.
California Senator Dianne Feinstein is 90 years old and has relinquished the power of attorney to her daughter. Nancy Pelosi is 83 and she too has had some questionable spaced-out moments.
But do not forget about President Joe Biden who is 80 years old.
“This man is senile. This man does not know where he is,” Steven said.
John Fetterman also deserves an honorable mention. Although he is only 54, he had a stroke in May.
“We expect him to serve in his current mental state for decades,” Steven said.
Steven went on to say how this is not just elder abuse, but it is abuse to the people of this country as well and that a country is judged by the way it treats its vulnerable, like babies and the elderly.
"Appreciate your parents, appreciate your grandparents. Mitch McConnell should be spending time with his family,” Steven said.
