In today's episode of "self-important celebrities grandstanding to us plebes," I give you this rant on climate change from one Miley Cyrus. During a performance, she highlighted her disdain for climate change and her passion for the F-word in a profane rant.

During her Friday performance at the “Tinderbox” Music Festival, an angry and uncouth Miley Cyrus took time to berate the crowd with an appeal for the planet. “All of you know how important it is to be involved in politics,” she began, before screaming, “The youth, this generation, we are the last fucking hope on this dying fucking planet!”

“I don’t like that there’s more fucking trash in the water than living fucking animals that deserve to be there, that have nowhere else to go.”

“And by the fuckin’ way, we don’t have anywhere to fucking go either! There’s no planet B, so don’t fuck it up!”

She must think each use of profanity bolsters her argument a little bit more. Hence the F-bombs every other word. So, so edgy.

You know, as a principle, I don't usually take my political cues from the human equivalent of a yeast infection. I have a hunch Miley Cyrus is patient zero for a host of diseases which don't even have names yet. So, she'll have to forgive me for hearing her life advice and resolving to do the exact opposite.

I have no desire to live in a world created in the image of degenerate celebrity douchenozzles like Miley Cyrus. She's a prime example of what not to do if you want to create a society of well-adjusted, productive individuals. So, regarding Miley's sage advice, thanks but no thanks.
