Let's say that you are the president of the United States. Let's say that you have a crisis going on at your southern border, one that was purely caused by your immigration policies. A crisis at the border that you want to convince people is not a crisis at the border. You know what you don't want? This clip.

Definitely not.

"Did you come here because Joe Biden was elected president?"

This is why they are calling Joe Biden "the migrant president." By "they," I mean illegal immigrants. I'm not sure what they called Donald Trump, but I'm sure if you translated it to English, it would not be very nice.

The biggest issue here, at least regarding this video, is Trump's "remain in Mexico" policy. Under the Trump administration, if migrants were seeking asylum here, they had to wait in their own country while the case was reviewed and processed. Some didn't, but they still waited outside the border. Biden removing that policy is effectively telling everyone "The door is open!" They get processed in America, and while they wait for their hearing, they are free to roam wherever they feel like. This is why there is a surge at the border of people singing Biden's praises. It's also why the Biden administration is considering shipping people off to the northern border. They're running out of room at the southern one.

Just, whatever you do, don't call it a crisis. Definitely don't call it a crisis at Thursday's press conference.
