Germany seems to have a terrorism problem and a refugee problem, that totally aren't related (a censorship problem too, but we won't get into it now). Now that Angela Merkel has declared "...that the entire continent was being 'ravaged' by terrorism," they can work towards a solution. Right? Right???

The German leader, who cut short her summer holiday to speak after a string of Islamist attacks rocked the country, said the entire continent was being “ravaged” by terrorism.

She described recent attacks in Ansbach, Wurzburg and Munich as “horrifying and depressing” but insisted Germany would not turn its back on people fleeing the Middle East.

In the wake of the killings, Mrs Merkel said Germany now needed a better “early warning system” to spot radicalised Muslims among the newly-arrived migrants.

She said the central government would “redouble its efforts” against the threat, increasing staff numbers and resources for security services.

Ok, great. So the German Chancelor is going to close the borders and limit the refugees coming in, especially in light of terrorists sneaking in with them. Because she does say Germany needs a better "early warning system." Like border control, yes? Border screening, yes?

No...

She added that Germany would "stick to our principles" and "give shelter to those who deserve it".

Um...

Now, Angela Merkel. I'm trying to think of a word, other than "stupid" which conveys the willful ignorance and dangerous approach to this immigration policy she's adopted. On the one hand, Merkel acknowledges Germany is being attacked, on the regular, by Islamists. Then acknowledges they need a better early warning system. Immediately followed by "we're totally going to let more Islamists into the country."

If you refuse to do something about a problem, the problem will continue to ravage your continent.

Angela Merkel is the embodiment of leftist's willful ignorance. She is stupidity personified. She has evidence that Islamists are a problem in her country. Yet she continues to believe letting more of them into her country will...what? Take pity on Germany for Germany taking pity on them?

Wrong, Merkel. Wrong. Islamists hate the west and all it stands for. But I can shout that all day long, I doubt any leftist will hear it.
