Media Quiet on UC Merced Attack, Now We Know Why...
We haven't said much about the UC Merced attack where a student stabbed four people before being shot and killed...by a cop with a gun. The media has been quiet about it too, initially because the attacker used a knife and not a mean-go-bang-bang gun which doesn't fit in their 1911-shaped narrative; secondly because the attacker had an Islamic name, not Billy Joe Jensen. In fact the only thing the media went out of its way to tell us was how the attack wasn't terror related. Except as details leak out... maybe it wasterror related.
In the two-page document found in Faisal Mohammad’s pocket by the county coroner, the 18-year-old freshman wrote a numeric list outlining his plans of who he wanted to kill, and how, including beheading and shooting his victims, Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke told FoxNews.com“No. 27 was to ‘make sure people are tied down,’ No. 28 was “sit down and praise Allah,'” Warnke said. “I remember seeing four or five times, scribbled on the side of the two-page manifesto, where he wrote something like ‘praise Allah.’”
I see.
And you wonder why people don't trust the media. Had he been a Christian and his name been Michael Smith, before his body even assumed room temperature, the press would be tripping over themselves trying to tie him to the Tea Party, KKK and Donald Trump. Remember the Colorado theater shooting and the circus that danced out of Brian Ross' mouth? That's okay, because I do. Before the bodies were cold, dumbass pundit Brian Ross of ABC tried linking the theater shooter to a Tea Party membership roster found online. Here's a refresher from none other than HuffPo:
Ross' comments came after federal officials informed news outlets that the suspect was named James Holmes. George Stephanopoulos threw to him on "Good Morning America" by saying, "You've been investigating the background of Jim Holmes here. You found something that might be significant.""There's a Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado, page on the Colorado Tea party site as well, talking about him joining the Tea Party last year," Ross said. "Now, we don't know if this is the same Jim Holmes. But it's Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado."
Brian Ross and the leftist (i.e. mainstream) media were desperate to link this heinous act of violence to the Tea Party. Because racism. The above was from 2012. Faisal Mohammed? The media tied themselves into cheesy soft pretzels trying to claim it was a revenge killing, and not a clear act of terror. Like this report from NBC News:
Warnke stressed several times Thursday that there is no evidence linking the attack to a religious or political motive. In response to a question, he said the note contained references to Allah but said the attack was motivated by a personal grudge...Asked later if there was any suspected terrorism connection at all, Warnke replied: "We had an upset teenager that was upset because he got kicked out of a study group, OK?"
We now know Mohammed always had a manifesto in his pocket listing students he wanted sliced and diced Julian-style, peppered with the appropriate "Praise Allah" of course. Also he was later praised in a tweet from ISIS. But the media?
Is the media truly bias? Well, we present this to you as exhibit... zzzzzzzzz97873465.
