Second Amendment supporters like to sarcastically joke about knife control to point out how silly the left's gun control arguments are. "Oh, someone couldn't get a gun so they got a knife? Looks like we need common sense knife reform now! Yuk yuk yuk."

Since 2016, Sadiq Khan has been taking action to tackle the scourge of violent crime in London, together with the Met Police. With the tragic rise in knife killings on our streets this year, he’s introduced tough, immediate measures to address the violence.

This part was my favorite. Mainly because "influencers" aren't real people.

Mainly, this is Exhibit Q why people don't give an inch when it comes to gun rights. It's never enough for leftists. Their belief is that people shouldn't be allowed to protect themselves. That's the government's job. So if someone commits a crime with a tool people can use for self-defense, liberals always want to exploit it as an excuse to ban the tool.

If we take this mentality further, bad jokes comedians tell should be blamed on the mic. Bad writing blamed on the keyboard. Traffic accidents blamed on the car. Crazy feminists blamed on donuts. When we remove the person from the crime, then we're free to blame anything for the crime. First it was guns, now it's knives. Soon it'll be dangerous hair combs waved about to frighten the unkempt.

They'll never quit. So neither can we.
