Saw an interesting tweet, that reads as if it's the terror attack version of Joseph Campbell's A Hero of a Thousand Faces. Eventually, all these stories follow a pattern.

We're at step 3 of the Jihadi's journey with London Bridge suspect Khuram Shazad Butt. Let me start off by saying...lol, "Butt." The guy's name is actually "Butt." I need a minute.

Anyhow, authorities have dropped the ball before (see TERRIBLE: MI5 Knew London Terrorist Was Known ‘Extremist’). In the case of Mr. Butt? They missed him on The Jihadis Next Door.

I swear, that's the name of the documentary. The full documentary is over 40 minutes. I time-stamped to where Mr. Butt moons the camera (just kidding). We call this "hiding in plain sight."

Butt had also gained public attention. He was featured in “The Jihadis Next Door,” a Channel 4 documentary that aired in January 2016. The film, made over the course of two years, shows him praying with a an Islamist group called al-Muhajiroun in front of an Islamic State flag in London’s Regent’s Park.

Butt appears in the film alongside Mohammed Shamsuddin, one of the ringleaders of the group. Shamsuddin proudly proclaimed in the film that the jihadi flag may one day fly over 10 Downing Street, the British prime minister’s residence. He is believed to have fled to Syria in 2014 and appears to have appeared in one of ISIS’ execution videos.

Maybe if authorities didn't have their heads up their own butts, they would have found this Butt.

More seriously, this documentary epitomizes the problem the UK has with its jihadist populace. They're not even hiding, they're roaming freely and proudly espousing their clear hatred of the West. In this case, ON FILM. While English Bobbies stand idly by and watch. Who falls victim to jihadist attacks? English civilians: unarmed men, women, children.

It's long past time for the UK and all of Europe to take a hard look at the policies which lead to the rampant Islamic extremism taking root. I'll give a hint: it rhymes with "multiculturalism" and ends with "branding anyone who speaks out against it a racist Islamaphobe." I do hope I wasn't being too cryptic.

Also, maybe don't sympathize with terrorists.
