A word of advice. If you're going to take a day off, don't telegraph that you're taking the day off to protest. Better idea: don't take the day off to protest. Instead, be at work just as your employer is expecting, so you can continue getting paid. If, however, you're really feeling the itch to get your entitlement on, be not surprised when your protesting ass is canned. Which leads us to Jim Serowski, owner of JVC Masonry, who fired 30 employees for missing work for #ADayWithoutImmigrants. Hero.
The media has gone after Jim because he had the audacity to stand up for his business.
Which only goes to show why most Americans distrust mainstream media
. Jim here had contracts to fill, deadlines to meet, and bills to pay. So these 30 sissies who opted to protest instead of work? They screwed him, and his clients by extension. What else were they expecting other than a steel-toed boot right up their entitled rectums?
There's much misunderstanding about what it takes to own and operate a business these days. No thanks to the continued proliferation of hate from
greedy money-grubbers like Bernie Sanders
. Business owners are anything but Public Enemy Number One Percent. They're hard-working Americans deserving of respect. Skipping work for a day to protest an inane cause
pushed by a bias media
? That's not what respect looks like. It's what an absence of critical thought and disrespect looks like. People lacking such basic skills usually make for poor employees anyway. But such qualities do make the ideal Democrat voter.
Jim is a hero for us. We hope you see him as a hero as well.
