Gauntlet Thrown: Floyd Mayweather Jr. Confronts Kaepernick, 'All Lives Matter'
I'm not going to pretend I'm all of a sudden a Floyd Mayweather fan (see Floyd Mayweather: Conor McGregor is Popular… Because Racism? and Liberals Now Accuse UFC’s Ronda Rousey of… Racism? Of Course…). But when the dude's right, he's right...
“I’m here to say all lives matter,” Mayweather said. “You know, a lot of times, we get stuck, and we are followers. When you hear one person say, ‘black lives matter,’ or ‘blue lives matter,’ all lives matter.”Mayweather refuses to place the blame on the police, despite a number of officer-involved incidents this year.
“It’s not right what is going on in this world on both sides,” Mayweather said. “What I learned from boxing and what everyone can take in real life is to follow directions, follow order. Don’t give nobody a hard time.”
Color me (in a non-racist way) pleasantly surprised. But how long before the social justice warriors of the left, with so much time on their hands due to lack of employment, berate Mayweather for being an "Uncle Tom"? Maybe somebody should get him a "racist" cupcake for good measure? Read Black Backery-Owner Creates 'Mr. President' Oreo Cupcake. Idiot Liberals Cry RACISM!
Mayweather is right. Frankly there's not much more to add that we haven't stated seven thousand times already. Read also Deion Sanders Says 'All Lives Matter.' Leftists Rage...
As for Money Mayweather's view on Colin Kaepernick?
“Kaepernick needs to try and get the starting job,” Mayweather said. “Stand up, and get the starting job. That’s what he needs to focus on.”
Not sure if that was a jab so much as a takedown, mocking Kaepernick's less than stellar performance of late as a quarterback. Because reminder, Kaepernick used to be known as a football player not an anthem protester. See how that works? When you start sucking at your job, it's time to get noticed by protesting the nation as a whole. For all the rabble-rousing reasons.
Of course, Kaepernick has the starting job as of this upcoming Sunday vs the Buffalo Bills. Expect lots of football talk that isn't about football. It's no wonder the NFL ratings are down.
