Lindsey Graham to Media/Trump Haters: "I Don't Give a S***!"
I'm just as surprised as you are that I'm writing about Sen. Lindsey Graham. Maybe he accidentally poured a Rockstar energy drink in his Cheerios. But he's spot on here. With all the whataboutism in today's politics, what about all those times Graham was PRAISED for working with a president he disagreed with? You know, the president who had a (D-IL) after his last name. Big ears. Little bit of an ego.
The fact that this happened on CNN (see AUDIO Captures CNN's James Acosta Explaining Why He's a Douche and Frank Luntz Slaps Around CNN's Brian Stetler Over Anti-Trump Bias) is even better.
“When I worked with President Obama––and I did on occasion––I was a hero. Now when I work with President Trump, I’m two-faced. I know how the game’s played and I don’t give a damn. I’m going to do what’s best for the country, I like the president, I want to help him, I hope he’s successful, he’s been a friend to me and he says some things I don’t agree with. So if you don’t like me working with President Trump to make the world a better place, I don’t give a sh*t.”
My man.
This just goes to a lot of the insincerity of people on cable news attacking the current president. If you didn't pledge fealty to the previous president, they will attack you. Lindsey Graham, if nothing else, is consistent. "I disagree with some things this guy says or does. I'm still going to work with him on the things I do agree with. BECAUSE HE'S THE F'N PRESIDENT AND STONE COLD SAID SO!"
Or something like that.
Also how strange a time we're living in when Lindsey Graham goes thug life on the media. Can't believe it.
