It still feels weird writing positive stories about Senator Lindsey Graham. Let alone one about immigration. But with 1001 different hot takes about the migrant caravan (see Migrant Caravan Members Caught Throwing Rocks at Border Patrol Agents and Alexandria Cortez Compares Honduran Asylum Seekers to Jews in the Holocaust), we return to Golden Graham. Who's probably rolling his eyes at the new young Democrat upstart, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Known round these parts as "Nina Pinta Santa Maria Cortez." Not a sexist thing. A long name thing.

This is the most salient point, in my opinion. Most Americans are happy to welcome immigrants from whatever country, so long as those immigrants want to be American. By "be American" I'm referring to living a life of self-sustainment, responsibility, and assimilating into the American culture. We don't want immigrants trying to break into the nation while waving the Honduran flag, hoping to suck at the government's welfare teet. So we're clear.

Challenge issued.

Yes, we are watching. We're not surprised by what we see: Democrats muddying the waters with slavish adherence to a narrative, which will not-so-secretly allow them future Democrat voters and a media willing to go along with them.

Americans are tired of immigration being used as a political football. Fix it. Now.
