Lia Thomas shattered a glass ceiling on Thursday, becoming the first transgender woman to win an NCAA title. Lia also went through puberty as a male and competed as a male before transitioning to female and becoming the #1 female swimmer in America. There are some people--people who believe in science, other female swimmers having opportunities taken from them and their families--who believe this is unfair. But we're not allowed to hear about that. Also, yargle blargle, you're a transphobe.

The trans community is still ranked #1 on the Democratic Party's pound-for-pound most marginalized rankings, so legacy media will only report on how beautiful and brave Lia's accomplishments are. And any other competitor who speaks out risks getting cyberbullied by LGBTQAIIPEIEIO+ activists and their allies. This Virginia Tech swimmer wasn't afraid and spoke out to independent journalist Savanah Hernandez. Here's what the other competitors are feeling.

"We are all very disappointed and frustrated with someone who has capabilities more than us women have to be able to compete at this level and take opportunities away from other women. I had a teammate who did not make finals today because she was just bumped out of finals. It's heartbreaking to see somebody who went through puberty as a male and has the body of a male to be able to absolutely blow away the competition. You go into it with the mindset that you don't have a chance. [...] It's hard to compete with the aerobic capacity, the muscle development of a man. [...] Staying positive, I bet, for other swimmers who are in that heat is probably overwhelming."

Overwhelming, disappointing, and heartbreaking. But again, Lia Thomas is ranked #1 in both swimming and Democrats' most marginalized. While cis women, especially white ones, keep plummeting in the rankings. Just ask JK Rowling.

The message is being received loud and clear. If you are a female athlete who was born female, your feelings about fairness and lost opportunities don't matter. All praise Lia Thomas.
