This weekend, there was a story about ICE detaining an illegal. Which wouldn't be uncommon, except this guy was taking his preggers wife in for a C-section. Naturally, leftists were quick to vent their rage on the Twitters:

Standard leftist talking points, really. "ICE are inhuman Nazi bastards who just ruined that peaceful illegal's big day by detaining him." There's just one little problem with that:

The media freaked out on Saturday after ICE arrested a man in southern California while taking his pregnant wife to the hospital, only for the agency to later announce he is wanted for murder in Mexico.

Joel Arrona Lara, 36, was detained at a gas station in San Bernardino, California, while he and his wife were on their way to the hospital for her cesarean section. He reportedly had been living in the U.S. illegally for 12 years.

Mr. Arrona-Lara was brought to ICE’s attention due to an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Mexico on homicide charges.

The foot-in-mouthiness of these leftists is just glorious. "Can't you ICE asshats put your douchery on hold for five minutes? What you're doing is just mean. He's about to be a daddy. It's not like he did anything illegal, besides the whole living in America illegally part. Wait, he's a murder suspect? Oh..."

The authorities aren't going to put their murder investigation on hold just because the border-hopping suspect's wife has a bun in the oven. The left might think it dickish for ICE to drag the new daddy away in cuffs, but I can think of something even more dickish. Murder.

Leftists seem to side with illegals by default, despite the frequent instances of them being murderous, rapey butt dumplings. Maybe next time they'll wait for the facts to come in before jumping straight to another douchetastic "abolish ICE" diatribe, but probably not.

Build the wall and deport them all:
