The hottest trend in leftism at the moment? Denouncing Bill Clinton two decades too late (see Chris Hayes BLASTS Leftists for Their Bill Clinton/Roy Moore Hypocrisy). If there's a way to shamelessly pander to the far left, you can bet that New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will be all over that.

Yesterday Kirsten said Bill Clinton should have resigned after the Monica Lewinsky scandal. But, you know, a lot has happened over the past twenty years. Least of all, Gillibrand getting appointed to Hillary's Senate seat when she was appointed as bungler of Benghazi  Secretary of State.

Even last year.

Keep in mind, allegations against Billy-boy have swirled like the icing on a Cinnabon for decades. The big question in all this? Where was Kirsten's moral fortitude back then, when she palled around hand-in-hand with Bill on the campaign trail?

Like most Democrats who cozied up to the Clintons, Kirsten has years of hypocrisy under her pantsuit belt. But, since Bill and Hill don't have any more power or favors to sell, people like Kirsten  Gillibrand have no problem saying #MeToo, in the pursuit of saving her ass justice.

Something that's not lost on Hillary's former spokesman.

This is the reality of leftist politics. Leftists will look the other way at any transgression, no matter how bad, so long as the perpetrator is of use to them. Then, when the favor-well is dried up and that person becomes a liability, suddenly leftists grow a conscience.

Believe me when I say, Kirsten. Not one person is buying it.
