Khalid Shaikh Mohammed Wants to Testify Against Gina Haspel
Started my morning playing "New York Times or Babylon Bee?" September 11th mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed wants US Senators to interview him about Trump's CIA nominee Gina Haspel.
After Gina Haspel embarrassed Diane Feinstein, Democrats may be desperate enough to listen to the testimony of an actual terrorist about how mean some people are to terrorists.
On the eve of her Senate confirmation hearing, a striking voice is trying to join that fray: Khalid Shaikh Mohammed.
Mr. Mohammed, the principal architect of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, was captured in March 2003 and tortured by the C.I.A. This week, he asked a military judge at Guantánamo Bay for permission to share six paragraphs of information about Ms. Haspel with the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Ms. Haspel ran a black-site prison in Thailand where another high-level detainee was tortured in late 2002. But it is not known whether she was involved, directly or indirectly, in Mr. Mohammed’s torture. Mr. Mohammed was held in secret C.I.A. prisons in Afghanistan and Poland.
They say the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Here's a clip of the anti-Trump #RESISTANCE upon hearing this:
This is just one man's opinion. But if one of the 9/11 masterminds doesn't like you, you must be doing something right. A terrorist taking issue with Haspel doesn't disqualify her from being CIA Director. A terrorist writing a letter about how mean a person is to a terrorist is basically a ringing endorsement. If anything, the vote should be 99-1 in favor of her appointment.
I'm just being realistic about Bernie Sanders. Who probably thinks being comfortable and well-loved by all is a "Yuman right."
Speaking of torture:
