Keith Ellison is no stranger to saying mind-numbingly stupid things. His words quite often make you want to lobotomize yourself with a rusty screwdriver. Without anesthesia. In his latest attempt at lowering the bar of leftism even further, Keithy-boy is claiming people absolutely, positively have to vote Democrat. Because women are dropping like crazy, yo.

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) is urging Democrats to go to the polls, saying “women are dying” because the left is losing elections.

The Democratic National Committee vice chairman spoke at a progressive training session on Friday and said the party needs to triumph at the ballot box for the sake of women's health.

“Women are dying because we are losing elections,” Ellison said. “We don’t have the right to lose a damn election. We have to win. We have to win.”

Well, that's a tad melodramatic, don't you think?

According to Keith, if we don't let women nix the buns in their ovens indiscriminately and switch to single payer five minutes ago, they're going to be deader than disco. Of course, that's if the Republican NRA death squads don't snuff them out first. I forgot about them. The only problem is people die under leftism all the time. Often without any rhyme or reason whatsoever.

I'm having a hard time distinguishing between Keef and a sketchy televangelist. Both present an existential threat. Then, they promise to make it go away, so long as you pledge allegiance to them and break out your checkbook. Leftists want you to think you absolutely need the Democrats. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of those awful non-leftists, with their personal and economic freedoms. Horrific.

Yeah, I'm not so sure anyone is going to be falling for this sorry sales pitch.
