Democrats Dismiss Keith Ellison Accusations Due to Lack of Evidence

Corey Stallings
October 01, 2018

The left has talked our ears off about Brett Kavanaugh being a rapey raper who rapes. We're supposed to accept their claim as truth, despite there being no hard evidence to prove it. According to lefties, if you refuse to "believe all women" you're a bad person and your wife should kick your rape-loving ass to the curb.

What you may not have heard about is the case against Democrat Party Vice Chair, Keith Ellison. A former girlfriend has accused Keith of abusing the bejeezus out of her.

Well, the Democrats just declared Keith innocent, due to her allegations not being sufficient evidence. Yes, really.

An attorney hired by Minnesota Democrats to investigate domestic abuse allegations against Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison reportedly concluded the accuser’s claim was “unsubstantiated.”

Ellison’s ex-girlfriend, liberal activist Karen Monahan, accused Ellison of physically and emotionally abusing her during their years-long relationship.

Monahan’s refusal to produce a video she claimed proved Ellison’s alleged abuse led Minnesota attorney Susan Ellingstad “to conclude that the allegation is unsubstantiated,” according to a draft version of Ellingstad’s report obtained by The Associated Press.

“An allegation standing alone is not necessarily sufficient to conclude that conduct occurred, particularly where the accusing party declines to produce supporting evidence that she herself asserts exists,” Ellingstad wrote, according to The AP.

So, "believe all women" is no longer the rule, eh.

You can't help but compare this to the Kavanaugh debacle, where there's a similar lack of hard evidence. Though, the left's tone couldn't be any more different on the two cases. "Just look at Brett Kavanaugh. He's a honky who went to prep school and partook of alcohol. He drank. Did keg stands at Timmy's house with his bro, "Sqwee." Made jokes about farting. It's open-and-shut. He did it."

On the other hand, when the left's talking Ellison, "I mean, Keith is a Democrat. Also a Muslim. Since when have authoritarian Muslim men ever been known to mistreat women. This whole thing is clearly a sham, made up by the racist, misogynist, (insert here)ist Republicans. This matter is closed."

There's a clear double standard at play here. "Believe all women" is only a thing when the perp doesn't have a "D" after his name. When he's a high-ranking Democrat, suddenly due process and hard evidence are things. Hypocrites.
