Although her boss is the king of unintelligible rambling, Kamala Harris isn’t exactly a slouch. Her pathological need to string together fifty words when only a few will suffice is legendary, and it leads to some terribly funny word salads. Obviously, her mother never taught her the adage that less can be more, in some cases.

At a meeting of the ASEAN—and for all of you who don’t know what that is, it’s the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (don’t worry, I had to look it up, too)—Kamala Harris not only felt the need to use far too many words, but she did so using the lexicon of a fourth-grade child. I’m not even kidding. My eleven-year-old speaks more eloquently than this.

“We will work together, and continue to work together, to address these issues, to tackle these challenges, and to work together as we continue to work, operating from the new norms, rules, and agreements, that we will convene to work together on, to galvanize global action.”

Something tells me she wants everyone to know she’s working…

She might have sounded more intelligent if she just coopted Larry the Cable Guy’s catchphrase, “Get ‘r done!”

But she didn’t. Instead, the members of the ASEAN had to sit by and listen to this talentless, uncharismatic bimbo dribble syllable after syllable out of her mouth. One might think she gets paid hourly or something with the way she always feels the need to drag everything on. It’s painful to watch, though.

But this is what we’ve come to expect from Joe Biden’s first affirmative action hire of his presidency. He’s had many more since then. But he really could have done better than a woman who has only succeeded by *cough* sleeping around *cough*.

I don’t suppose that requires any polishing of one’s oratory skills.
