Pete Buttigeig and Joy Behar Claim Republicans Don't Understand Socialism
The lefty cheerleading hags on The View are busy at work, shaking their pom-poms for the Democrats. While simultaneously trying to land punches on the Orange Man and us pesky conservatives. Just take this little exchange between Pete Buttigieg and Joy Behar for example:
Co-host Joy Behar praised Pete Buttigieg while encouraging him to mock the right as ignorant to the virtues of “Democratic Socialism.”
Behar claimed that the “right-wing” was attacking Democrats as socialists for no reason at all, adding that Republicans just didn’t understand what the word “socialist” meant.
Buttigieg said "if it's conservative, they'll call it Socialism because it's coming from Democrats. Let's worry whether it's a good idea, and every proposal to expand health care, to raise wages, to make sure we're actually building up our infrastructure, to get paid family leave, call it whatever you would like, but let's get it done. If it's a good idea, and the others can argue over what label to slap on it.
Uh, we're against socialism because it's a bad idea.
Socialism isn't some slur conservatives concocted in order to bash on lefties. It's a system where the state decides how your greenbacks are spent. Capitalism is you voluntarily spending your dough on goods and services you want. Socialism is a bureaucrat with a gun to your head, telling you to fork over your wallet. While assuring you "it's for your own good."
Most conservatives understand socialism just fine. Not to mention, a whole bunch of butt-breath lefties are already waving that hammer-and-sickle banner. If there's any misunderstanding here, it's the left's ignorance regarding the success rate of their craptastic socialist policies. Hint: it's non-existent.
While we're on the subject of that sucky system:
