Steven Crowder Demands Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer Release the Death Count
On Friday October 2nd, Steven Crowder held a rally at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing to expose Governor Gretchen Whitmer's deadly COVID-19 policies for nursing homes. The Detroit News and many other outlets have reported 34% of COVID-19 deaths in Michigan are linked to senior nursing homes, but that number is a lie. Although the surrounding states, like Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois report similar fatality rates from senior nursing homes, Michigan's death tracking doesn't include assisted living facilities, adult foster care facilities, or homes for the aged. So Steven demanded answers.

As a matter of fact Michigan's 34% death rate, which equates to 1,967 deaths, only comes from 447 nursing homes in the state, yet there are almost ten times that amount of currently active, licensed assisted living facilities in the state, numbering at 4,428. The average age of death of a Michigander with COVID-19 is 77 years old, and over 70% of Michigan COVID-19 deaths occurred at 70 years or older – the ripe old age for many living in nursing homes.
