John Kerry has been the most derptastic Secretary of State we’ve ever had (see John Kerry Idiotically Claims Climate Change as Dangerous as ISIS… and John Kerry Says ISIS is ‘On the Run’. Gets Checked by Jake Tapper). But this new bit about it being cool if media didn’t cover terrorism?
How do we know when John Kerry says something stupid or something serious? Trick question. The answer is both. Always both. Here are his actual, real words. This is not satire:
Remember this: No country is immune from terrorism. It’s easy to terrorize. Government and law enforcement have to be correct 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But if you decide one day you’re going to be a terrorist and you’re willing to kill yourself, you can go out and kill some people. You can make some noise. Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn’t cover it quite as much. People wouldn’t know what’s going on.
“People wouldn’t know what’s going on.”
Does anyone know if John Kerry knows what’s going on? Or what was going on with his appointment as Secretary of State? I’m coming up a little blank here.
Following Kerry’s logic trail, terrorism would be cut in half if it wasn’t for the pesky media reporting on terrorism whenever terrorism happens. As a result, people hear about our governments incompetent response (lately) to terrorism. Also, this might be a little awkward for John John here, but the same media he’s griping about? They hate even calling it “terrorism.” Read VIRGINIA: Man Yells ‘Allah Akbar’ During Stabbing Spree. FBI Debates Motive… and COMPILATION: Countless Times Liberal Media has REFUSED to Say ‘Terrorist’…
But blame the messenger. Even if that messenger does whatever it can to cover your posterior. Seems legit.
Don’t talk terrorism
Of course the real problem John Kerry has with the media even acknowledging bad things happening isn’t the actual bad things happening. It’s the lack of response the United States has to these incidents of terrorism. Remember, El Presidente Obama said ISIS was “contained.” Just before Paris was victim to terrorism. Whoops. We’re dealing with an administration whose response to real threats is to run out into the dessert to dig a hole. Not for IEDs, but so they may have a comfortable place in which to shove their heads. See no evil.
Just because you want to pretend evil doesn’t exist (or if you’d rather sympathize with it), doesn’t mean evil goes away. Whether or not the media covers it in your favor, evil is still out there. But since the State Department seems to do so little about it, let the rest of us explain it:
