Democrats are desperate to make the midterm election about Roe v Wade. And I realize I'm not supposed to insult my colleagues who are social media professionals by implying their job is done by interns who take the short bus to work. That means an adult professional thought this would be a good idea for a tweet. Joe Biden using a quote from his dad where his dad compares himself to Satan...to hit Republicans on abortion.

In case the tweet is gone when you get here (because I think someone is trying to delete it while I'm writing this) it reads: My dad used to say, “Joey, don’t compare me to the Almighty. Compare me to the alternative.” And here’s the deal: Democrats want to codify Roe. Republicans want a national ban on abortion. The choice is clear.

I mean...

I get that Joey didn't tweet that himself, doesn't know what a Twitter is, and most likely thinks Sprout Social is childrens programming. A source from the White House has leaked the following footage of the person responsible for this tweet being admonished.

To recap:

Someone -- an alleged social media professional -- thought an unrelated Joe Biden quote would pair well with an abortion attack.

The quote they chose was one where Biden's dad allegedly (Joey makes up a lot of stories) compared himself to Satan.

Democrats think that supporting no limits on abortion puts them on the side opposite of Satan.

I honestly have nothing further to add. This is one of those rare self-owns that you have to let stand on its own. As far as terrible tweets go, it belongs in the hall of fame.
