Here's proof that something can be both sad and hilarious all at once. Presidential hopeful and pull-my-finger encourager Joe Biden made a campaign stop at a factory in Detroit. According to the video below, Uncle Joe should've booked time with a shuffle board instead. Here he is getting into an argument with a "voter" (scare quotes make sense once you watch the video) about guns, such as the AR-14. Not a typo.

Telling people they're full of caca about guns when he clearly knows nada about guns.

In addition to Biden being a crotchety old toot, he's also a cranky crotchety old toot who seems both confused to be there, surprised he remembered pants, and lacking the wherewithal to understand maybe he shouldn't use his inside voice out. In that clip above, he seems to threaten to slap the guy, says "that's bullshit" and incorrectly labels the Armalite Rifle (that's actually what AR stands for, not "assault rifle") as an AR-14. I guess that's the less scary, younger model of the popular black rifle with the vertical grip thingy.

A couple of macro points for you:

• Donald Trump would like to thank Sleepy Joe for the 2020 campaign contribution, especially if Biden scrawls "AR-14" in the memo section. Remember, this is the man in whom the Democrats have placed their Trump-toppling hopes and dreams. He comes with age spots and a look of genuine confusion.
• Whoever is pushing Joe further and further into this presidential race should feel deep shame. The man isn't loosing his marbles, he's slip-sliding all over them.
