Sometimes the world has a way of dispensing justice all on its own (see #FightFor15 Backfires MAJORLY: Wage Hikes Cause Mass Job Loss). Take this story for instance. It starts with a group of ISIS fighters trying to set up some explosives in Mosul, Iraq. Typical terrorist hobby. Far from shocking, I know. But it appears something went way unexpectedly. Enter instant karma...

Two ISIS fighters blew themselves up while attempting to booby-trap [a] house belonging to a "traitor" in Mosul.

[They were] attempting to rig-up explosives in a house... in Tal Afar, Ninevah Province, once lived in by a man who was executed by the extremist group.

The explosion also wounded two other members of ISIS.

US-backed Iraqi forces [went on to take] al-Hurriya in the city, as the battle for Mosul wears on.

Yep, they accidentally blew themselves to bite-sized halal pieces instead...

I know, with suicide bombings aplenty, it's hard to tell which ones are intentional and which ones aren't. They all blend together in a blur of flames and hijabs. A couple of ISIS fighters exploding themselves into oblivion? Not exactly a plot twist for the ages. One comes to expect these sort of things, after all (see 75+ Killed in Suicide Attack at Shrine in Sindh, Pakistan. Yeah, It Was ISIS...).

But the fact that it was all on accident is what makes this story satisfying on so many levels. Especially considering how many cowardly extremists are content to send others to be blown up, but have no intentions of jihadi-suiciding it up themselves...

Also, I don't suppose ISIS provides adequate workers' comp for these sort of things. Word on the street is only lads with tenure get extra heaven virgins for accidents on the job.
