House Intel: No Evidence of Russia Collusion with Trump Campaign

Brodigan
March 13, 2018

426 days and over 300k documents later, the House Intel Committee has said there's no evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA (see Desperate CNN is Now Doxxing, Live Trolling Trump Supporters Over Russian Collusion and Michael Moore Duped into Supporting Russian Anti-Trump Protest). This long national nightmare is finally...let's be honest, not even close to being over. The media won't let this go. In fact, after this, nothing will likely change. No evidence to the left will mean all the evidence Trump colluded.

But here's what the committee came up with. As per The Daily Caller:

Republicans on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence have completed a 150-page report that asserts there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.

The report will also make a more surprising claim. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meddling in the 2016 campaign was not aimed at helping President Donald Trump defeat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Guessing based on how Daily Caller wrote this, the report may allege that Vlad may have, in fact, possibly, allegedly, tried helping Hillary? Maybe? Possibly?

The committee announced the release of the report on Monday. 426 days after the panel started its investigation into Russian interference in the election. Seventy-three interviews have been conducted in that time span, and more than 300,000 documents have been reviewed, according to committee Republicans.

“We have found no evidence of collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians,” reads an overview of the report, which the committee released Monday.

This is all according to the committee themselves. It still has to be reviewed and declassified. Then the public gets to read it. House Democrats are also going to clap back with a report of their own. If I were to guess, the Democrat report will say, "That other report is stupid. Trump colluded! Look at Ivanka!" It may lead to a dance off between Deven Nunes' squad and Adam Schiff's crew. You Got Served: Collude Deez Nuts.

It's beginning to feel like we're never going to know for sure. Even if we do, half the country won't believe it anyway. It'll be "You're fake news" versus "Nuh uh, you're FAKIER NEWS!" The all caps are necessary. Unfortunately.

But for now, we have this 150 page document that says zero collusion. We'll enjoy the brief respite while it lasts.
