We've often written of illegals and the crimes they're kind enough to carry over with them (see New Jersey: Illegal Immigrant Sexually Assaults 6-Yr-Old Girl and Illegal Murders 15-Year-Old Stepdaughter Pregnant With HIS Child. But It Gets Worse…). Ken Paxton, the Attorney General of Texas had had enough of it. He's calling for harsher punishment when illegals get their crime on.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said Monday the punishment for illegal immigrants who harm American citizens needs to be stricter, citing a specific case where a father and his two children were killed.

“I think our laws in Texas need to be stricter for this,” Paxton said. “We’ve been dealing with this for years. Dealing with sanctuary cities, trying to prevent people from coming into our country illegally. This is an area I think the legislature needs to address, because I don’t think the penalties are strong enough for people who commit these types of crimes.”

All too often, we bust illegals for murder and rape who have rap sheets a mile long. Every time we bust one of those pendejos, we give them a stern lecture and send them on their way. It's only after someone ends up in a pine box that the authorities finally perk up and do something. Even then, they let the bad hombres off easy.

Leftists would be in a tizzy if it were US citizens raping and murdering illegals. They'd be rapid-firing words like "racism" and "xenophobia." But, being the rapers and takers of lives are in one of leftists' protected groups, they get a pass. "Rape on, illegals. Rape on."

Until we get serious on protecting our peeps from illegals, innocents will keep dropping. Two years in prison, if he even serves that long, isn't enough time to make up for sending a guy and his kids into the great beyond. Especially when the fence-jumping asshat shouldn't have been here in the first place.
