We aren't too fond of many things European. Examples: their gun laws, their migrant laws, their annoying level of formality. We are quite impressed, however, at their shock and horror over a serial HIV spreader and their willingness to prosecute. Two things California won't do, because feelings (see In California, It’s Worse to Misgender Someone Than Infect Them with HIV and Purposefully Exposing People to HIV is No Longer a Felony in California…).

Thankfully this evil impling was brought to justice. It won't undo the HIV, but it's something. Something is more than what California is willing to do when it comes to intentional spreading of the booty flu.

Terrible things are always happening. Just take a look at the pervy champs who keep popping up on the left (see Male Prostitute Found Dead in Democrat Donor's Home. Media Silence... and 'Anti-Harassment' Democrat Aide Accused of Sexually Harassing Women. But It Gets Worse...). But when policies are based on protecting the rights of citizens over what "feels right," the law can help to mitigate said terribleness.

We're just as shocked as you are that Britain actually got something right this time.
